cold forming techniques offer a lot of advantages by

The methods of forming are very quick, repetitive and
are very easy to set up, on the contrary to machining,
hydroforming or other technologies. There is no material
loss, because these methods do not produce any chips
and the entire starting material finds itself in the
finished product. The pieces can be formed inside and
outside simultaneously. The tolerance can be up to 0.02mm
for the interior and exterior diameter. In contrast
to machining, cold forming can raise the tensile strength
and hardness of the material. The pressing of the material
during the forming improves the surface finish. |
